Heavy canvas:
Body:
Cut rectangle: 24.5 x 15″ Use the selvedge as the top edge.
Pocket:
Cut rectangle 23 x 10.5″
Bottom:
Cut 2 circles 12.5″ in diameter

Soft thin fabric:
Nose padding cover: Cut 10 x 4″ strip
Foam: Nose padding: Cut 8 x .75″ piece
Stabilizer: Cut one piece 11 x 3″
Vent: Cut 8 x  5″ rectangle out of strong ventilated material
1″ wide Grosgrain ribbon: Cut 4 pieces 9″ long, cut 4 pieces 6″ long
Webbing: 4.5 yards polyester webbing

Prepare & attach pocket:
Fold in half to 23 x 5.25″
Stitch along long side. Turn and press.
Stitch a pleat in the center.
Center on the chin (bottom) body piece, 2″ from the top.
Stitch to the body along the top and sides, leaving the bottom open.

Prepare Nose Padding:
Fold in half to crease. Open. Fold raw edges to middle.
Tuck foam inside. Clip to hold until needed.

Prepare Bottom:
Place stabilizer between to circles. Baste together with 1/4″ seam.

Prepare & sew vent:
Cut 8 x 5″ rectangle out of Top body piece, centered and 3″ from the bottom edge.
Fold each strip of ribbon in half (long way) to crease. Stack ribbon in pairs and sew down the middle along the crease of each pair, start and end .5″ from each end.
Fold each ribbon piece in half, away from the stitch line.
Tuck vent fabric into folded pieces on all sides.  Fold ends under at angles (miter) and stitch.
Fold outer ribbon folds around vent cut out. Fold ends under at angles and stitch.
Zigzag to reinforce.

Assemble:

Sew nose and chin body pieces together along the sides using a French seam.

Sew circle to bottom with the seam on the outside.
Use webbing as binding around the bottom.

Line up XXX piece of webbing along one side seam, aligning first with the bottom edge. Stitch along both sides. Feed end through quick connect buckle. Stitch end down to secure.

Line up XXX piece of webbing along other side seam, aligning first with the bottom edge. Stitch along both sides. Feed end through other part of quick connect buckle. Hem end of webbing to prevent unraveling.

Attach padding to webbing about 4″ from one end of webbing.
Line up webbing so that the padding is centered on the top/nose body piece.
Line up the webbing along the outer rim of the top/nose body piece and clip.
Sew along the bottom edge of the webbing.

Tuck wire frame between webbing and canvas. Stitch near top edge to enclose.
